The New Green Vault
The New Green Vault presents the treasures that the Saxon Electors and Kings have collected over the centuries. Here you can see an overwhelming collection of valuables and treasury works of art made of gold, silver, precious stones and ivory. You will see evidence of intricate craftsmanship and incredible waste. These include special cabinet pieces such as “The birthday party of the Mughal emperor” or “The Golden Coffee Set”, but also particularly finely worked ivory works of art or a cherry stone with 185 faces.
In this guided tour, you will delve into the kings' collections of treasures and learn the background and exciting stories about these works of art, which will help you understand them better and will open up new worlds.
Price and duration
90 Minutes: €100 plus admission to the museum
- Prices do not include the one-time guiding fee (€ 25,-) and entrance tickets.
- As guided group tours are to be announced in advance, I request a timely booking.
- This tour is only available during the opening hours of the museum possible.
- Maximum group size: 20 people.
