The Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister in Dresden is one of the most renowned collections of paintings in the world.
The collection of Italian Renaissance and Baroque paintings is one of the most important outside Italy and the collection of Flemish and Dutch paintings is outstanding.
The museum has the world's largest Cranach collection and the collection of vedute (cityscapes) of Belotto (also known as Canaletto) vedute (cityscapes) is also renowned.
In addition to paintings, the museum has an excellent collection of classical sculptures and Renaissance and Baroque sculptures, which are among the most important collections in Europe.
As a licensed museum guide and art mediator, I will be happy to show you around this museum. Not only will we look at the most important works of art, you will also learn a lot about the background, hear exciting stories and learn to understand the works of art in their context.

120 minutes: € 130,- plus admission fee
180 minutes: € 180,- plus admission fee
Combine your guided tour in the Picture Gallery with a guided tour through Dresden or a visit with guided tour to the New Green Vault in the Residence Palace.
