Guided Tours in the Museums of Görlitz

Görlitz has various very interesting museums. The Cultural Historical Museum is part of the Görlitz collections for history and culture (Görlitzer Sammlungen). This museum tells about the history and culture of Görlitz and Upper Lusatia, where from medieval times influences from Bohemia, Saxony, Silesia and Prussia has been noticeable.

The Cultural Historical Museum (Kulturhistorische Museum) consists of the following buildings:

- The Kaisertrutz presents the history and culture of Görlitz from the prehistory until our times in a unique medieval round building.

- The Reichenbacher Tower, a 51 metres high fortification tower, tells the history of defence and fortification through the ages.

- In the Baroque House you immerse in the world of Baroque and Enlightenment. Especially valuable is the Upperlusatian Library of Sciences (Oberlausitzer Bibliothek der Wissenschaften), one oft he most beautiful libraries in Germany.

Guided tours in the museums are only possible during regular opening hours.

Guided tours have to be requested in advance.

Duration: 90 Minutes 
Rates: € 90,- up to 15 people. Each additional person € 6,00

Also possible: 120 minutes
Rates: € 105,- up to 15 people. Each additional person: € 7,00

Prices do not include the Admission fee of the museum!
